The relevant ministries and departments of the state builted national computing hub nodes and planned 10 national data center clusters in 8 places including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Gansu and Ningxia, which marks the official and comprehensive launch of the "East Number and West calculation" project. The "East Data West Computing" will orderly guide the computing demand from the East to the West, optimize the construction layout of data centers, and promote the coordination of the East and West by building a new computing network system integrating data centers, cloud computing, and big data.
